The MCAEL Board is made up of a diverse group of individuals from the community to provide the governance oversight for the organization. The MCAEL bylaws provide that up to three board seats may be reserved for individuals from provider organizations; such individuals shall serve as individuals and not as representatives of their organizations. Each elected board member who is not affiliated with a provider shall serve a three-year term and is eligible for re-election; no such board member shall serve more than two consecutive three-year terms. Board members who are affiliated with provider organizations are eligible for a two-year term.
