A Culture of Collaboration: Meeting the Needs of Adult ESOL Learners

On March 10, 2018, MCAEL will host its 1st Professional Development Conference at the Germantown Campus of Montgomery College. This conference represents MCAEL’s continued commitment to offering diversity in content and structure to meet the professional development needs of instructors in the MCAEL network so that learners and instructors alike have quality classes.

The conference will provide a day of learning, exhibits, lunch and networking. The program includes professional development workshops conducted by ESOL professionals with topics such as Engaging Technology and English Language Learners, Culturally Responsive Teaching and more.

The conference will also offer occasions for instructors to network with their peers, with program administrators, publishers, exhibitors, community partners, and coalition members alike.

Conference schedule, workshop overview & descriptions and campus map can be found and downloaded here.
